Queen Anne's

In Queen Anne’s County, just across the Chesapeake Bay Bridge, you will find small waterfront towns, water activities, and nearly 20 parks covering thousands of acres. Charter fishing and boat rentals are available in the county, kayak rentals, marinas, and several waterfront parks, such as Matapeake State Park, Matapeake Beach, and Clubhouse, the county’s first public beach. In addition to the sandy beach, it offers kayak rentals and a dog swim area.

Among its many activities, Tuckahoe State Park offers fishing, boating, hiking, and walking around its 60-acre lake. From Terrapin Park Nature Area to Kent Narrows, the Cross Island Trail is a 6.5-mile east-west trail for bikes, rollerbladers, joggers, and hikers.
