Anne Arundel County, MD

Annapolis, Maryland’s state capital, is located in Anne Arundel County in the middle of Maryland. Half a million people are living in the county. Most of Anne Arundel county’s borders are defined by water. Baltimore City and Baltimore County are to the north, Howard County is to the northwest, and Prince George’s County is to the southwest. Magothy River, Severn River, South River, and West River are the largest tributaries to the Chesapeake Bay, which lies to the east.
