Greektown

It is a blue-collar neighborhood where Greek flags adorn porch-front rowhouses in Southeast Baltimore. The traditional Greek community welcomes all walks of life, leading to the opening of a variety of new businesses. Each June, residents of all backgrounds enjoy the Greek Festival at St Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church, which includes traditional eateries such as Samos and Ikaros, as well as newer ones. Easy access to I-895 and I-95 makes commuting out of the city easy for residents. Bayview Medical Center is a major employer in the area. Highlandtown, Brewers Hill, and Bayview are all nearby.
