Federal Hill

In South Baltimore, Federal Hill is named after a hill on its northern edge. Even though the district was designated a federal historic district with strict preservation and revitalization requirements, most residences were renovated in the last few decades. There are a variety of home styles available in Federal Hill, including luxury condos, historic brick rowhomes, new-construction townhouses, and apartments. There are two nearby public parks (Federal Hill and Riverside), easy access to I-95 and I-295, and a vibrant bar and nightlife scene. The Ritz-Carlton and Harborview Pierside are two nice condo buildings and Locust Point is a close-by neighborhood. The 8X10 live music venue and Cross Street Market are popular with residents. Under Armour and the University of Maryland Medical Center are the two largest employers in the area.
